Terms
Terms of use
Short, because the service is simple. Last changed 31 October 2026.
What the service does
YourSSL Outlet reads public certificates from servers you name or files you paste, checks them against the rules published on /rules, and gives back files and advice. Results are what the software found at that moment; check your site after any change, and keep a copy of any file you replace.
What you may check
Check servers you run or are responsible for. Do not use the service to scan other people's systems in bulk, to attack or overload anything, or to get around its limits.
Private keys
Do not send private keys. The service refuses anything that looks like one and keeps nothing of it, but a key sent anywhere over the internet should be treated as exposed and replaced.
Your Bench
A Bench is opened by its private link. Anyone holding the link can open it, change it or delete it, so keep it like a key. We cannot recover a lost link. A Bench that nobody opens for 400 days, and that has no Pass running, is deleted. Readings not saved to a Bench are deleted after 24 hours.
The Bench Pass
The Bench Pass will cost $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year, paid through PayPal, and will renew until cancelled in PayPal. A cancelled Pass runs to the end of the period already paid. During the preview it is free for everyone and no payment is taken.
No warranty
The service is provided as is. It does not promise that a certificate or server will work with every client, and it is not responsible for changes you make based on a reading.
Who runs it
YourSSL Outlet is a self-service tool of WeldonPC (Garfield Heights, Ohio). WeldonPC's help desk and billing are at weldonpc.com.
